Greetings From Our Church Family

 

Like a beacon spreads a bright and shining light,

so the people of First Christian Church- Athens  reflect the shining love of joy, peace and goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

 

We are a caring community of neighbors who extend an open invitation to you to come and worship with us.  We definitely are not perfect, but we all strive to follow our Lord's example.   

 

Come and worship with us on:

 

Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Is a  brief, informal service to help us through the rest of the week.

 

Following our Wednesday night service is Choir Practice.  If you love to sing, come and join us!

 

Sunday Worship offers a variety of services which all include: The Lord's Supper (Communion)

  8:30 a.m.  Casual and Informal

10:30 a.m.  Traditional Service

 

Come join our church where burdens are shared, joys are celebrated, failures are forgiven, brokenness is mended and hospitality is offered to everyone.
